Shalom! Welcome to Temple Sinai. We welcome you to our website and to visit our congregation in Orangeburg, South Carolina.The mission of Temple Sinai is to provide a Jewish presence in the Orangeburg community and to assist with the spiritual needs of our members. Among our goals is to be a house of Jewish worship for all who wish to join us. Our congregation is not currently affiliated with any movement, though we are historically a part of Reform Judaism.We conduct monthly Shabbat services and holiday observances. Interfaith families and people of all faiths are welcome at any time. Please view our schedule for dates of specific events.


High Holy Days Services

For those wishing to join us for the High Holy Days, the schedule of services is as follows:

September 16th, 2012 (Elul 29 5772) Erev Rosh Hashanah service at 7:30 p.m. September 17th, 2012 (Tishrei 1, 5773) Rosh Hashanah services at 10:00 a.m. September 25th, 2012 (Tishrei 9, 5773) Kol Nidre service at 7:30 p.m. September 26th, 2012 (Tishrei 10, 5773) Yom Kippur services at 10:00 a.m. Afternoon services begin at 4:00 p.m. with Yizkor following. "Break the fast" immediately following; please bring a covered dish to share.

We welcome the entire Orangeburg community.
